Which TV shows do you remember having returned with sequels with audience demands but failed to make a successful impact? what would be the main reason for it?

Leads who impressed with performance in the very first TV show but found little / hardly had that success forward.

Best theme songs of all time? Pure nostalgia hits hard here. The Sony era just had a different soul—IPL on Set Max, Champions League cricket, WWE on Ten Sports—those themes instantly transported you back. Star Sports was grand and polished, but Sony’s music felt raw, iconic, and unforgettable. Some tunes didn’t just introduce a show, they *defined an era*. 🎶🔥

Have anyone remember watching 'Chehra' aired on Star Plus very long back? I couldn't recall exact story of it. It was aired very late night

Interesting case here : though Barun had huge success in IPKKND season 1, many expected to have the continued success in season 3 with new actress (though Sanaya was not part of it) but it became a commercial flop.

On the other hand, season 2 (which was renamed from title 'Dard-e-Dil') where new pairs which didn't had any hype when the promo released, faced backlash, still became commercial success. (It had also found success in regional languages).

Which factors plays a key role in successor? 1)Great and unique story? or 2)Same lead casts as predecessor? 3)Different casts who have been successful in previous shows, expectation of new chemistry between them.

The very first TV show as a child I watched was Bidaai in Star Plus. Recalling the days when my mother badly wanted to take remote control to switch this show and there were many lists along with those as well. Gradually I too loved the sister bond between Sadhna and Ragini and the challenges Ragini faced to find perfect bride because of dark skin complexion.
