Bottom are now straight so the ortho is working on bringing the teeth in. Still waiting for the canines to turn before he can being bringing the top teeth in. No extraction which I am thankful for. I had a curry and a pot noodle which has stained them, but it was worth it. I refuse to live on beige food 😆

Hello. I have an overbite which has been chipping away at my front teeth. Ortho recommended 4 months of braces with teeth shaving to correct my bite before composite bonding on my lower front teeth, where the bottoms have worn away.
Im a month into treatment and I can see my teeth are flaring out. Just looking for a hand hold that this is the awkward stage before it all comes together nicely? Im a bit nervous and looking for positive stories of shaving and the difference it can make to creating room. Previous ortho wanted to remove 4 teeth and im wondering if I made the right decision in choosing shaving over extraction.
