मैंने इसी साल 12वीं (UP Board) से लगभग 80% अंकों के साथ पास की है और JEE Main में मेरी 81 percentile आई है। फिलहाल मैं अपने करियर को लेकर काफी उलझन में हूँ।
मैं एक छोटे शहर से आती हूँ, जहाँ सरकारी नौकरी को लेकर बहुत ज़्यादा आकर्षण और दबाव रहता है। इसी वजह से मुझे समझ नहीं आ रहा कि मुझे आगे किस क्षेत्र में जाना चाहिए।
मेरे सामने अभी दो विकल्प हैं:
B.A. या B.Sc. जैसी सामान्य ग्रेजुएशन करूँ और साथ में सरकारी नौकरी की परीक्षाओं (SSC, Banking, UPSC आदि) की तैयारी शुरू कर दूँ।
B.Tech करूँ ताकि भविष्य के लिए एक मजबूत बैकअप रहे, और बाद में यदि चाहूँ तो सरकारी परीक्षाओं की तैयारी भी कर सकूँ।
समस्या यह है कि मुझे नहीं पता कि मेरी Computer Science में रुचि है या नहीं, क्योंकि UP Board में 12वीं तक हमें Computer Science पढ़ने का अवसर ही नहीं मिला। इसलिए मैं यह भी तय नहीं कर पा रही हूँ कि B.Tech लेना सही रहेगा या नहीं।
इसके अलावा, आजकल AI और Automation की वजह से लगातार layoffs और नौकरियों में बदलाव की बातें सुनने को मिलती हैं। इस कारण मुझे डर लगता है कि कहीं B.Tech के 4 साल लगाने के बाद भी मुझे अच्छा अवसर न मिले और मेरा समय व्यर्थ न हो जाए।
ऐसी स्थिति में मुझे कौन-सा विकल्प चुनना चाहिए? क्या B.Tech एक अच्छा बैकअप हो सकता है, या फिर सीधे सामान्य ग्रेजुएशन के साथ सरकारी परीक्षाओं की तैयारी शुरू करना बेहतर रहेगा?

My name is Anvi. I passed Class 12 this year with 80% marks, and I have also obtained a percentile 81ie in JEE. However, I am very confused about which career path I should choose.
I studied through the UP Board and come from a small town where there is a huge craze for government jobs. Because of this, I am unable to decide what field I should pursue.
I currently have two options:
Pursue a normal graduation degree such as B.A. or B.Sc. and start preparing for government examinations alongside it.
Pursue a B.Tech degree and keep it as a backup option for the future.
I am not sure whether I am interested in Computer Science because our UP Board curriculum did not include Computer Science in Class 12, so I have never really been exposed to the subject. Therefore, I do not know whether I should choose it or not.
Another concern is the rapid growth of AI. With so much discussion about automation and layoffs, I am worried that spending four years on a B.Tech degree might not be worthwhile in the long run.
I am feeling very confused and overwhelmed about my future and would greatly appreciate some guidance on what I should do.
