Should I buy an SSD now or wait it out?

Pretty much as the title says. I’m seeking an M.2 NVMe internal storage drive, but the prices have skyrocketed. I’m a little upset I didn’t foresee this happening. Do we think prices will stay relatively high and stagnant? Maybe get significantly higher like with RAM, which has just continued to get more expensive?

This is my first time posting on this subreddit, and i’m a very infrequent reddit user, so apologies if this is written/formatted weirdly. I am an 18yo male

I have been on Vyvanse since around 2021-2022 when I was in 8th grade. It had a major impact on my life and my mood, and it was extremely validating to have more self control and better focus/drive with school work which i lacked before that. As many other people have said, it worked very well the first few months of use and the effectiveness simmered down over time. I built up to around 30mg and stayed there

The main reason I wanted a switch is because of both my sleep habits, and the appetite suppression. I’m incredibly underweight and vyvanse makes it near impossible to get out of a calorie deficit. I’ve also noticed a significant change in my personality over time, feeling less empathetic and emotional than i used to be, and i feel like i’ve gotten less clever, funny, creative, wtv.

My GP initially put me on a trial for 35mg Foquest, which is a canadian stimulant. since it’s extended release, it had a horrendous impact on my sleep and wasn’t really effective otherwise because it is less potent, though the breaks throughout the day helped with eating.

I’m now on my first day on Converta at 27mg, and i have been feeling really weird lol. Like overstimulated, zoning out quite a bit, kind of groggy, which led me to skip my second class today because i would not have been comfortable sitting in that chair.

I will keep updating with how this trial progresses, but in the meantime please let me know your experiences with starting concerta, and how it differed from vyvanse if you’ve been on that before as well.
