Basically what the title says. Could gaviscon be making symptoms worse? I feel the unilateral throat mucus and pain more after eating Gaviscon. Has anyone else experienced this?

I’ve been struggling my with what I think is LPR for about 2 years after a really bad respiratory infection and laryngospasms. I’ve had the Nissen procedure, tried the AWD diet, met with many ENTs, and even tried neuromodulators. Nothing seems to provide permanent relief. I eat the same foods regularly in the hopes that my throat would heal but haven’t seen progress. Then 3 eeeks ago I was out of town for work and tried new foods bc my “safe foods” were not available. I had spicy chicken, cilantro lime rice, sandwhiches, and even a Cinnabon with no symptoms! Then I cane back home and 3 days later symptoms returned. Any one else experience this? Doctors tell me it’s not reflux, but I can’t figure out what’s going on. Pls if yall have any recommendations I’d love to hear them.
