Has anyone recently traveled to Saudi from the US using Visa on Arrival as a US Green Card holder (Pakistani passport)?

My Saudi e-visa was rejected, but according to Visit Saudi I’m still eligible for VOA because I have a valid US Green Card.

I’m mainly worried about boarding from the US did Gulf Air staff give anyone a problem for not having a pre-approved visa? Were you able to board and then get the visa successfully in Riyadh?

Would really appreciate recent experiences or tips 😭

I am a US green card holder with Pakistani passport I applied yesterday for my E visa and today I got a email that it has not been approved
Now I wanted to know if anyone is preferring Visa on arrival?
