Honestly blown away by my 8 Ultra.

I never thought i would adore switching to an android phone, let alone a folding phone. After just a week im kinda obsessed.

It genuinely feels futuristic and magical. Maybe its still the honeymoon phase, or maybe its genuine excitement and enjoying cool technology. I love the customisation I have at my fingers, and my lock and home screen are something to behold, at least to me.

Games are so good on this. As a commuter to and from work, this is night and day from my iPhone. I still love iPhones, but i dont think im going back from this. Anything other than this, for me, will be a downgrade.

My only gripes: android auto isnt as seamless in my car compared to carplay, and even refused to connect at one point. And Hey Google seems to be worse than Siri right now. But maybe that will improve over time like my Siri did.

Overall phenomenal honestly.

Customising my C16S

Title says it all. Plenty of stickers from my local anime convention. Highlight being Aerith with the steel chair. Peak. Can’t recommend this pad enough for newcomers like myself. My local scene adores it.

Seriously want to get my hands on the Haute42 CAS when it comes back in stock.

First Fight Stick Opinions

Hey all.

Wanting to get into this space and get set up with a good first time option. As a quick purchase, I found a haute42 s16 on FB for only $30 (Aussie bucks) so I’m grabbing that tonight. But I’m a bigger lad and so will definitely also look into a bigger one if I like the s16 enough and feel like I need a bigger play space.

I’ve perused through models like c16 and the 42 M Ultra (I adore the blue of the ultra 2). I reckon I want leverless, but don’t have any experience with either that or stick box.

Any other good starting points other than the ones listed? I did see the 8bitdo has wireless which would be handy but not huge on the look. I’m a PC player SF player but honestly don’t know what or if any locals in Adelaide SA use. Any cool info is appreciated.
