Zombies solo fun

Just started playing zombie mode (MWZ) yesterday and I'm surprised at how fun it is. I'm soloing it, so just grinding out the first few hours, but having a blast.

Do most people play solo or get matched with strangers?

AI says the must have equipment for solo is decoy grenade - any other suggestions?

Season finale = weak, generic

I had AI summarize the last 10 minutes of the finale because I was too bored to finish it. Weak, uninspired, tropey writing.

Ep. 8 wasn't much better, with Carter's random, silly tantrum, and then the show degenerating into another drug cartel drama

I just returned my Switch 2 after 3 days

I just returned mine after having it a few days. The specs aren't as good, dollar for dollar. Nintendo has really done down hill in general - all their games are trying to be like Zelda Breath of the Wild - open world, but they're forcing it and it's weak, and the games in general lack the creativity Nintendo is known for. It seems to be all soulless corporate decisions now - and they keep just rebooting stuff instead of creating new content, generally speaking.

Metroid 4 - what a joke. Looks great, but you're basically a glorified repair woman, travelling around, scanning things to see if they need to be fixed or junked. No fast travel. Tedious open world transversal.

Hades 2 - pretty damn good, but we already knew that (can play it on any platform, don't need Switch)

Super Mario World (Edit: I meant Mario Kart World) - pretty good because it's optimized for Switch 2 ("S2" for short), but not a reason to buy a S2 for that alone.

The most fun I had besides playing Hades 2 with an external monitor, was playing the original Ninja Gaiden (retro) - but you really don't need a S2 for that...

I don't mean to hate on the S2 - I really want to like it, maybe I'll buy it again years down the road if better games come out for it...

EDIT: As of 2000, most Nintendo products are made in China - not NECESSARILY bad, but definitely not as trustworthy as made in Japan like Nintendo products used to be. This is not a dealbreaker, but worth noting.

Why safe deposit boxes are not safe for seeds, passwords, etc.

If you're thinking of storing your seed phrase in a safe deposit box, consider the following:

Private owned company shut down due to criminal activity: https://beverlypress.com/2022/03/beverly-hills-private-vaults-company-guilty-of-federal-money-laundering-charge/

Gold was taken out of people's safes during the 30s (Great Depression) - 3000+ banks failed in that era, and the contents of the boxes went to government controllers. There is no documented number on how many people, if any, got their gold back from the gov....
