A sword in a dragon skull... and something forgotten beneath it

This started as a simple idea: a sword embedded in a giant skull. But while building it, it slowly started turning into something else.

Now I'm imagining this as an ancient place lost to time: scattered remains, buried ruins, and an entrance leading beneath it all. The skull and sword may be just the surface of a much bigger story.

The second image is a small hint of what might be hidden below.

I Started Making Connected Mini Golf Maps in Terraria

I’ve been working on a series of themed mini golf maps connected together through progression systems, where players have to complete one level before moving to the next.

These are the first two maps so far, but I plan to keep expanding the project with more themes, environments, and mechanics in future levels.

Sequential Mini Golf Maps with Functional Wiring Systems I Made in Terraria

I started working on a series of connected circular mini golf maps with different themes and environments. These are the first two levels, and every map will be part of a progression system where players have to complete the current level before accessing the next one.

I also built several custom wiring systems for the maps:

The teleporter to the next level only unlocks after the golf ball enters the hole.

The system detects when the level is completed and changes the lights above the teleporter:

Green = completed

Red = not completed

To move to the next level, players have to activate the switch above the teleporter after completing the course.

I also made a multiplayer restriction system:

1 golf ball in the hole = only 1 player can advance.

If multiple players try to use the teleporter at the same time, only one is sent to the next level while the others stay behind and have to complete the course again.

I still plan to make more maps with different themes and mechanics in the future.

Spent a lot of time working on this ship, trying to make it feel alive and detailed.

Then there’s the Angler… living in his very “cozy” little boat off to the side.

I think the housing situation fits his personality perfectly.

I put together this small build and ended up discovering a really cool visual combo. By stacking the Retro Monolith with the Blood Moon Monolith, it creates this strong orange filter that completely changes the mood of the scene.

It gives everything a kind of sunset / eerie atmosphere, and honestly, it made this simple build feel way more impactful than it actually is. Definitely one of those small tricks that's worth playing around with.

Just started working on this biome and experimenting with a darker, more desaturated style. Still not entirely sure where I want to take it or what direction it'll evolve into, but I'm trying to build up atmosphere first and figure out the rest as I go.
