Just curious — does anyone know the last confirmed case of someone getting banned for using their main/primary PSN account on a jailbroken PS3, playing backup games, earning trophies, and then syncing them?

I’ve seen older posts about bans from years ago, but I’m trying to figure out if it’s still happening in 2025/2026 or if Sony has basically stopped caring about PS3 at this point.

Any recent experiences (or lack of them) would be appreciated. Thanks!

Just wondering what everyone thinks about this. When Sony completely shuts down the PlayStation Store on PS3, would it become any safer to use your main PSN account while playing games on a jailbroken PS3?

Obviously there’s always been a risk of bans when using CFW/HEN while signed into PSN or even offline, but once the store is gone and PS3 support is basically finished, do you reckon Sony will care less about detecting jailbroken consoles/accounts?

Would you still avoid using your main account, or would the risk probably be pretty low by then?

I’m set to go in for an Arthroscopy on Thursday and never had anything done like this before. What’s it like and is it completely safe?

Just wondering if anyone has heard of recent console bans (either from Sony or CFW-related) in the last few months. I’m curious about the current climate.
