Found a gold chase today. I’m not really a Car Tuned collector but couldn’t leave it behind.
Today I finally opened (after a few months of having it) my Mini GT AO Racing set to add to my other AO and IMSA cars. So I lined them up for a few photos. Before anyone might ask, yes I do have the Spark Le Mans Rexy as well. Can’t wait for more IMSA Mini GTs to come out.
Display is the Pitboxlab display “American” box with extra of their racks added.
So I’ve been collecting for 15+ years. And recently sold off my hot wheels collection. We had decided to swap my old office with my son’s room since my office was slightly bigger and since he was getting older the extra space would be nice.
Since we had to get different office furniture for the new space I wanted something that would allow me to display some of my 1/64 premium brand collection. I found the pit boxes and lucked out on a piece of furniture that fit them well. So here it is in the current state. Still have some work to do but it’s mostly finished.
So I bought my first Moza products off fb marketplace. Got this all for $550, which made this a major impulse purchase lol. I kind of wish I had done a little more research now that I realized that most of the racing games I play don’t support the AB9 with force feedback. But I’m going to try to make the most of it and try some more flight sim games. I started programming the MTP on MS flight sim, but ran out of time to complete it. But excited to try it. When force feedback is working it was pretty fun to drive around in Assetto Corsa Evo. I’ll have to look more into what other games actually support the force feedback feature. If anyone has any suggestions of flight sim or racing sim games that support the ffb please let me know.
The rest of my sim rig is Fanatec DD1, v3 pedals, shifter and handbrake, so I may go back to just using the Fanatec shifter till there is more support for the AB9. Also considering buying a full Moza set up but haven’t really locked in how serious of a wheel base I’d want and if I’d sell the DD1 or go more basic on the Moza so my son can grow into it as he gets older.
So I got home and found a jumping spider on my car twice in the last week or two. I was able to grab the Z8 and 105mm for some quick snapshots. These are pretty heavily cropped for the close ups as these spiders are quite small.
I’m far from any kind of experienced macro photographer, so still working out best practices.
