Nothing Phone or Google Pixel? Help me decide

Hi everyone! I just joined this community.

I've been thinking about switching to an Android phone recently and I'm currently torn between the Nothing Phone and the Google Pixel.

While the Pixel seems to have a more premium build quality, its price for the base 128GB model is high enough that I could almost buy an iPhone 17. Since my current primary device is an iPhone, I'm leaning toward considering the Nothing Phone instead.

I really love the design of the Nothing Phone, but I find the plastic materials a bit hard to accept.

One thing I'm curious about is whether the experience on the Nothing Phone—specifically regarding AI and other unique features—is comparable to what you get on a Pixel. I’d love to know how the Nothing Phone holds up for daily use.

Also, which of the new models would you recommend most right now?

What should I pick?

I have always liked Bellroy's backpacks, but I ended up buying an Osprey instead because I really like the brand. However, the internal layout of the Osprey just hasn't been working for me, so I am looking at Bellroy again to see if they have something that could replace my current pack.

I am looking for a bag that fits two main needs:

  1. Daily commute: It needs to be able to hold a 14-inch laptop.
  2. Short trips: It should have enough capacity for a 3 to 5 day trip.

A friend recommended the Tokyo Tote, but I was wondering if there are any other suggestions? I am also interested in recommendations for accessories, such as wallets or wash bags.

Most importantly, I would love to hear some honest reviews on the actual user experience and how well their products hold up over time in terms of durability.
