I’m sure this is old, but it sure as hell is gold. For what it’s worth, I hate it when anyone says “my pleasure” - especially when it’s literally mandated by policy.

2015 iron 883. On a ~130 mile road trip when the speedometer quit working and the “check engine” light came on. It’s still indicates the RPM, but shows 1st gear at all times. I know how the gear is calculated, but I’m wondering if anyone has any advice on what to check first.

One man’s trash is another man’s $5k dollar treasure. Might not be the fastest GPU in the game, but it can take a real beating.

RTX 6000 ADA 48GB ECC VRAM.

It might not be a lot, but I’m very proud of this little rig.

Agent, code gen, vision and general chat:
Qwen/Qwen3.6-35B-A3B-FP8

Second set of eyes for classification and summaries:
Qwen/Qwen3-14B-AWQ

RAG/embedding:
Qwen/Qwen3-Embedding-0.6B

All running in VLLM with a custom rolled C# Blazor front end and backend services. All RAG vectors are stored in native SQL Server vectors.

This might have been my most fun project to date.

Llama.cpp vs. VLLM

I’m running VLLM and I couldn’t be happier, but I’m wondering if I’m missing something since I never see it mentioned here. Are there any advantages of llama.cpp over VLLM?

RTX 6000 ADA 48GB

Ok, so I impulse purchased a RTX 6000 ADA 48GB to replace one of my two RTX 3060. Is this bastard going to give me enough horsepower to justify its $5k price tag?

Edit: RTX 3060, not 6030. 🤦‍♂️

Added the A3 industries top rail to my Springfield Kuna, trying to get this optic in my line of sight. I think it looks a little goofy, but I like it.

This thing is just too much damn fun. I didn’t even like it when I took it home, it took a couple of range trips for it to become my number one favorite firearm. HS Produkt Kuna FTW! (in the fun department).
