With Altman retiring this week, some Arkansas folks recounted what they know of his 14-hour stint with the Hogs.

I’ve spent a decent amount of time looking into this. Here’s what I’ve learned.

FWIW, Moseley liked my tweet with this story. Lol.

In honor of Arkansas-Tulsa week, I caught up with a man who’s been on both sides of this matchup.

(I know these kind of stories rarely get much traffic, but they’re really fun to write and I promise it’s worth your time.)

I know folks will be split because of how polarizing he is…but given how things have played out, it’s hard not to wonder how things woulda been different if Arkansas hired him instead.

We limited our top-15 list to three current Hogs. Sure would be nice if No. 1 was still in Fayetteville.

And it’s not just because of the Hogs.

I’ll do my best to update this link as guys sign with practice squads. I expect there to be at least a handful…and I wouldn’t be shocked if Brandon Allen ends up somewhere as a QB2 or QB3.

Really appreciate Brent Dearmon taking some time during fall camp to chat with me about why his squad’s Week 1 trip to Arkansas is extra meaningful to him.
