Bluetooth — very short distance connection

I have Signia Styletto 7ix hearing aids. The bluetooth connection works well but has a very short range. So I have to hold my phone in front of me or use a chest high pocket. Are there brands with a stronger bluetooth signal?

Help! Warranty question.

I love my 2011 Specialized Secteur.....but yes it is relatively old! I've taken very good care of it and have gotten it regularly serviced. Sadly, today my LBS noticed a crack on the frame just below the seat post. I took it to a Specialized store (company store, not a dealer) and they were very nice and helpful, and started the warranty process. Since my model obviously no longer exists, I was told I would likely be offered 35% off on a new bike. In reading the warranty, I'm unclear if that would be a fair offer. Anyone have experience with this?

How much benefit to replacing my 15 year old Specialized?

I love my bike, but am wondering how much difference/benefit there might be to finally buying a new one. I've used my Specialized Secteur Elite bike well for 15 years....over last 12 months Strava tells me I put in 3,400 miles (and 89k elevation gain). I do a lot of urban riding in NYC and plenty of out of town rides (often club rides in the 15-17 MPH average range) and do RAGBRAI.

BUT I am not a racer and have no interest in that. If it matters, I am 6'5", 195 pound male and almost 65 yrs old. So comfort is also important (I also love my Selle Royal Respiro saddle).

Other than several scratches I do my best to touch up, my bike shop regularly services it and says it is in good shape.
Also if it helps, here are the detailed specs from the original ad: https://www.specialized.com/us/en/secteur-elite-compact/p/23226?color=33132-23226

So what do you think?
