NMIMS BA Mumbai general scene

So I've heard from seniors that placement process for business analytics is different from core MBA.

I was hoping they would be same, we would have gotten same opportunities as them.

What other things should one know before entering college?

should I start off-campus placement preparation from Day 1 itself?

How strict are they with attendance? (Proxy or legit reason needed?)

Are there live projects, do they pay well?

Do they even teach core MBA topics like marketing and operations, in depth or is it just coding?

Any chance to get new company for placements?

Can same company for core, be bought for us?

Any chance of combined placements?

Can I have a part time job/internship with the course?

Seniors and Alumni of NMIMS MBA BA Mumbai course, can you help out.

House and Wilson should have dated.

I mean hear me out, they are friends but they are much more than that.

They liked monster trucks. They lived together.

Jobs: the new dilemma and it's solution.

It's quite evident from the topic itself. There is a huge job dilemma in India today.

AI is automating jobs, people are being fired, new graduates are unable to get jobs. All of them are desperately looking for jobs.

Not to mention students still in college who don't get internships or opportunities because of the intense competition. (A experienced guy also applies for the internship meant for college students, it's obvious he gets it)

I think this has a simple solution: local businesses (including startups)

Local businesses always need people to do work for them. And most of the time they have plenty of regular long time staff doing majority of the work. They could take some of these students for internships and give them some work to complete, supervised by their employee.

If a local business like a jeweller takes a few interns for strategy/growth roles. They come up with ideas to increase footfall and conversion of buyers by making attractive schemes. This way both the parties are happy, the interns got the experience and the jeweller got sales.

Startups are always in dire need of people.

Now the paying part is the tough part. They should be given a fair wage, but we know it's India, they'll probably get nothing or labourer wage.

But we as young people must understand that, it's not the money at this stage (at least while in college), it's how a business works, what is needed, who are the important people, how decisions are made.

One other problem is most people aim for corporate jobs which is fine, but which usually don't appreciate all this kind of experience, so it might get tricky that way.

What are your thoughts guys?
