Vor paar Tagen gekauft, noch Jahre haltbar. Heute geöffnet und sieht so aus. Riecht normal aber leicht gräulich verfärbt, innen Rosa...was sagt ihr?

Immer von nem Porsche geträumt...den Boxster 986 in der Porsche Welt nie so Recht auf dem Schirm gehabt, jetzt ein Jahr im Besitz und ich kann sagen, das Auto räumt alle seiner gängigen Vorurteile locker aus dem Weg.

Recently reached 222.222 km (or 138.000 miles for those of you counting in freedom measurments :P) I'd say that's quite a number for a Porsche that's so heavily criticized for its quality.

Pic for attention. Hello everyone... unfortunately my car alarm went off a couple of times tonight without any reason so I was wondering what to do. Already disabled the interior scanner by locking the car two times in a row but am worried it will go off again as that doesn't disable the whole alarm. Neighbors must be quite annoyed already. Thought about leaving it unlocked tonight. Will the car lock itself?

How and why did these cars ever become so unloved? I simply cannot understand.

Had them installed yesterday. Think 18s look stunning on the 986!

(3rd slide is the before, passenger side blinker quite yellow) So this actually worked way better than expected. I recently made a post about how I am going to try and fix the orange part of my headlights.

I tried transparent orange lacquer (couple of sprays) and coated it with 2k clear coat. Now I only need to find the corner piece in the proper orange color.

As you can see the passenger side headlights blinker has turned yellow over the years. I've seen a couple of Boxsters with similar issues so I was wondering how people tried to fix that. Buying a new headlight is near impossible without paying a whole lot of money and used ones are usually in similar condition.

Has anyone tried my idea of using a transparent orange spray paint? Other ideas?
