Was asked to paint some rocks for a little boys mud kitchen. Had really never heard of such a thing but here they are with a couple of bonus rocks for the little boy. It was fun just hard deciding what to paint. Each have something cute, positive or inspirational written on the back.
Think this is the new non-native controversial milkweed but...anyone know what this is and best way to treat maybe with a diy method, soap, etc...
I follow various eagle cams/nests and a very popular eagle named Jackie recently passed away, so sad when you followed a whole year of their life and their eaglets to maturity. I painted a few eagles for 4th of July, Bicentennial and just painted one for her. Her mate is already courting another female...oh the drama...Days of Our Lives ๐คฃ RIP Jackie.
Just a reminder because I always need it...always double check when around milkweed that you don't step on caterpillars and when you move potted plants check for them as well as chrysalis on the pot itself...just smashed one hanging on the edge of the pot, so sad ๐ข

Someone had posted they wanted to see book rocks but can't find it now but here'swhat I painted for a book club!
Before and after...original rock about 4 - 5 years and faded. Couldn't find original pic but changed it up. Actually liked the weathered look on the brick so left it.
Any tricks/ideas to keep wasps away? They probably get 99% of the caterpillars ๐
