SPED 186 ADVICE

I am seeking advice on what you would do. I am with ITeach TX as my ACP and I just need to take and pass this exam (186). I took the EC-6 (passed 1st try) and the STR (passed 1st try). I used 240 tutoring for these two that I passed and I will use it again ($50) for the 186 SPED exam. I just started the online courses 6600 and 6601 with iTeach that do not have to be completed before I start my field experience but they are the Foundational "meat" of the course that covers all the domains that is supposed to prepare you for the exam. Those courses will eventually need to be completed in order for iTeach to recommend me for a standard certificate. I would like to plan my studying and avoid wasting time. Would you jump straight into 240 and drill for the exam, or take the 6600 and 6601 first, then pay for and study with 240? School starts AUG 10 and I am trying to get my SPED Statement of Eligibility. I'm not in a rush, but I need to plan accordingly. Thank you.

Passed my STR

I was sweating bullets. I got a 5/8 on the CRQ but I passed! I am going to be SPED Resource. I have the job lined up already and now I will have the SOE. I used 240 tutoring. Good luck everyone!

Imperial Dignitary 👃

So someone at Vallejo must have been looking for this color and decided to make it because it seems to be a 99% match for Imperial Dignitary's notorious nose rub. It's 70.971 Green- Grey. I touch up and restore for my own personal collection I display like my recent '77 Leia. Just a tiny drop on the tip of a needle will do. No brush. It's not perfect but it's better than before.

Retrobright

Before and after shot. I touched up her hands on the after pic with Vallejo skin tone acrylic. Gloss sealer. 3% peroxide, 36 hrs under the UV lamp setup. Kept her head above the liquid. Darkroom. Figure is cleaned using alcohol, lighter fluid, and dawn dish soap with warm sudsy water before anything with peroxide. After the figure is removed from retrobright, wash with dawn soap again and pat dry. The black paint is extremely resistant to fading even after being in hot peroxide for 36hrs. The UV lamps heat up the solution which aids in the whitening. The black paint in the after Pic has barely faded, if any. I have whitened up Stormtroopers (Hoth too), and Biker Scout, and AT-AT driver. The logo on AT-AT driver did not fade under peroxide (?) True, sometimes the yellowing comes back, sometimes it lasts a long time. I restore for my personal enjoyment and my bedroom displays and never sell restored figures.

Sea Hunter

G.I.Joe confiscated and impounded an abandoned Moray from the eastern shore of Cobra Island. It was completely refurbished and re-fitted with a Honeywell AGT-1250 GAS TURBINE. A highly trained group of Joes called the Sea Dogs renamed her the Sea Hunter and use her when on night reconnaissance missions. Her hull has been re-fitted with RAM (Radar Absorbent Material)
