Returning to the hobby after 15 years off. Having last month built up my Orbea Lafrey, I needed to get my road bike sorted. Having previously ridden TCR’s, naturally it felt like the place to come back to.
Amazing how far things have advanced in that time, Di2 is wonderful.
Following on from my new mountain bike last month - time to get back on the road after 15 years away.
I had a number of TCR’s when I cycled and always enjoyed them - so logically decided to go back to what I loved.
Only just assembled it - which is why the setup looks wild at the moment. Fitting tomorrow.
I don’t have any first hand experience of these and there are no local shops that stock the Wahoo - so looking for some input if possible.
This will just be used for road use.
I can get all these three new for £350 - hence the choice between the three
I am leaning towards the Wahoo - simply because of the larger screen size (I require reading glasses I can’t wear when cycling).

Thought I would share a few photographs of a build I have just completed today. It’s been a decade and a half since I last spent anytime on a bike - decided 40 is a good time to get back on two wheels.
Build wise - fairly simple, group set & brakes are all XT,
Hope Fortus (Pro5) wheels, Orbea Laferty frame and a set of pikes. Also my first time running tubeless tyres.
Also impressed which how more refined some components seem now - the one up carbon bar is lovely.
It has been interesting as a lot of things have changed since I last had a bike - much prefer bolt through axles and dropper posts.
Hopefully don’t crash it tomorrow…
I’m in the process of building up a On One Scandal - it’s the first internally routed cable bike I will have built.
But….
The supplied metal grommets appear to be backwards? I’m sure it’s me but they work on neither the bottom exit or top?
They appear to be orientated one way as I assume they screw in.
Picture attached. Is there something very obvious I am missing?

I am in the process or replacing my Suntour forks with some Bomber Z2’s.
My issue has come from undoing the front wheel - the thru axle has disintegrated and it appears the metal “sheeth” from the axle is now stuck hard into the wheel.
Any suggestions or just new wheel time?
