3 weeks on 5mg Lexapro

So I’m exactly 21 days on 5mg Lexapro and after a week and a half I was starting to feel like myself again. Little anxiety here n there. Was able to eat and was sleeping better. Well today I woke up a couple times middle of the night heart racing little anxiety feeling in my chest. I started my period. And all day today I’ve kinda just been anxious and having that anxiety feeling in my chest and body. Probably doesn’t help that I’m home alone and just ruminating in my thoughts and coming to Reddit for reassurance 😔. I debating if I should up my dose to 7.5 mg but I have work and I’m scared those initial side effects of heightened anxiety will come back. What’s everyone’s experience of upping from 5 to 7.5mg

Breathing pattern disorder

I have an appointment set up with a chiropractor in 2 days I’ve been dealing with breathing pattern disorder for a year now. I think it started from COVID and possibly wearing high rise pants and clothes that were probably too tight causing me to chest breath and over time just messed up my breathing pattern. I’m curious if anyone has had a similar experience and had positive results from adjustments.

Anxiety

Stuck in this constant anxiety loop for 3 days now I’ve never had anxiety last this long before. My heart rate doesn’t seem too high highest was 115 but I feel like I can feel my heart beating and it’s driving me crazy. I feel sick and nauseous and just out of it. I feel like I can’t even sleep more than a couple hours without getting woken up to anxiety. I almost feel like I’m doing it to myself by just constantly thinking about my heart beating but I don’t know how to stop or fix it. I have no one to talk to about it because I feel like everyone is just tired of hearing me say it and just doesn’t understand how I feel! I just want to sleep the days away till I feel better but can’t even do that. Tempted to go to the hospital but I already know they’re just going to say anxiety and probably do nothing to help. I’m on no medication but at this point I feel like I need it.
