So this has been bothering me all day and I just need to get it off my chest.

We had plans for a lunch out today that was planned around 3 weeks ago. I’m the type of person who really values planning and schedules. Once something is set, I organize my whole day around it, finish my work early, clear my schedule, and mentally prepare for it.

Then suddenly, just 2 days before the actual meetup, they changed everything. Different time, different venue, basically a completely different plan out of nowhere.

I tried to brush it off at first, but honestly I got really disappointed and angry. Not even because of the place itself, but because it felt disrespectful of my time. Like… we already planned this weeks ago. I adjusted my schedule for it.

What made me more frustrated is that they acted like it was no big deal, while for me it completely threw off the day I carefully arranged.

So out of frustration, I unfriended and unfollowed them. Now I’m sitting here wondering if I overreacted or if I’m just someone who values time and consideration too much.

Part of me feels justified because consistency and respect matter to me. But another part of me is asking if this is toxic behavior already.

I don’t know. Maybe I just needed to vent.
