My GSD mix Birdie
This is Birdie, Shes about 10 months old and I adopted her from my local shelter a few months ago. We were told she was a husky mix, but then had her DNA tested and results came back mostly GSD with some Husky and pit in there.
My question is when will she start to listen?? And when will she want to train? She is so lazy and stubborn all she wants to do is lay in the sun and nap. Teaching her easy things like sit, lay down and basic recall in my backyard has been like pulling teeth with her.
She is so friendly and loves people and other dogs, and since she is so lazy all I can really do for now is work on her socialization. She goes to the groomer every 6 weeks and everyone there loves her, they send me pictures of her and she just lays there and lets them do their thing. They tell me she is one of their easiest clients because she is just so lovely and easy going.
Im absolutely in love with this dog and she’s in her forever home with me, I guess im really just curious if she will ever grow out of her stubbornness and get more active as she gets out of puppyhood
