Ranking 16 most popular chocolate ice creams in India (in terms of nutrition and ingridients)

Important notes:

  1. The comparison and ranking have been done on the assumption that there is no mislabelling.

  2. This analysis has been done using Gemini based on ingridient and nutrional value as listed on the ice creams (as shown on Blinkit)

  3. I have attached images of ice creams I have analysed.

  4. Standardized quantity of 100 grams has been used for analysis.

  5. EDITED: I forgot to include naturals chocolate icecream in the list, please consider that at rank 1. (CLEANEST INGRIDIENTS)

----------------

RANKING:

🍫 Chocolate Ice Cream Tier List (India) — Cleanest to Worst

🥇 S-Tier (Cleanest)

  1. NIC Choco Chips – No gums, no emulsifiers, no synthetic colors.

  2. Amul Ice Lounge Belgian Chocolate – Pure dairy base, no added water, no fillers.

  3. London Dairy Double Chocolate – 93% real dairy + real chocolate flakes, no cheap carb fillers.

🥈 A-Tier (High Quality, Minor Issues)

  1. Giani’s Belgian Chocolate – Clean milk–sugar base, but uses stabilizing gums.

  2. Hocco Belgian Choconut – Real nuts & dark chocolate, but water is the first ingredient.

  3. Havmor Nutty Belgian Dark Chocolate – Real walnuts/almonds/raisins, but synthetic dyes used.

  4. Infino Choco Hazelnut Marvel – Real hazelnut paste + nuts, but padded with glucose & maltodextrin.

  5. Amul Choco Chips Ice Cream – Good dairy + chocolate chips, but relies on heavy stabilizers.

🥉 B-Tier (Highly Stabilized / Artificial Coloring)

  1. Kwality Wall’s Chocochip – Liquid glucose, 5 stabilizers, 4 synthetic colors.

  2. FruBon Chunky Chocochips – Modified starch + palm-kernel-oil-based chocolate chips.

  3. Baskin Robbins Mississippi Mud – Glucose syrup + starch + preservatives in brownie/syrup.

⛔ C-Tier (Budget / Synthetic / Diluted)

  1. Vadilal Chocolate Chips – Uses compound chocolate + multiple emulsifiers + artificial colors.

  2. Havmor Chocolate Ice Cream – Water-first formula, only 6% cocoa, padded with dyes.

  3. Cream Bell Choco Brownie Fudge – Industrial oils in brownie/fudge + maltodextrin + synthetic colors.

💀 D-Tier (Worst Offenders)

  1. MOTHER DAIRY Choco Brownie (Standard Tub) – Extremely high sugar (22.6g/100g) + hydrogenated fats. (EDITED: by mistake I wrote Amul brownie before)

  2. Huber & Holly Belgian Chocolate & Brownie – Palm kernel oils replacing dairy + 3 modified starches + artificial flavoring.

I analyzed 16 Indian Chocolate Ice Creams. These are the winners and losers.

I standardized everything per 100g to see what we’re actually eating. Here’s the quick hit list.

CONCLUSION:

🥇 Cleanest Ingredients: NIC Choco Chips (Edited: also include Naturals chocolate ice cream)

Why: Only 4 ingredients. No gums, no emulsifiers, no artificial colors.

💰 Best Clean + Value: Amul Ice Lounge Belgian Chocolate

But this has now become so embarrassing for me

My brother thinks we are some big shot or very rich people just because we are purchasing it every month😭

Today when we went he was like " yeah yeah we keep coming every month"

Idk but i felt so embarrssed

The shift from long term to casual in no time😶

Altho i am myself looking for a serious relationship, guys who mention only long term relationship, change their stance in no time, when they are being asked for casual relationship.

Atleast be honest that you are open for a casual relationship as well

Why do some people always talk as if their first language is English?

I mean i just don't get it

Many people talk in english despite you reply in Hindi to them especially on dating apps

And some of them use such tough jargons 😐

Esa lagta hai yahi cambridge se padh kr aye hai🥸

Is this mislabelling? Hully gully snacks

Usually I avoid purchasing packaged snacks but yesterday when I went to supermart, I saw this on the rack, got curious to know what would be the price for such a big packet and I end up checking macros, got suprised, and ingridient list also look clean.

254 calories for 100 grams of packaged snacks seems too good to be true

Also, how can there be no oil at all?

Can it be a mislabelling?

Pavan karmele sir, it's high time- please correct mistakes in your book OR else leave teaching

I love how he teaches but there are so many silly mistakes he has done in the answer and he never bothers to correct it

Its so frustating.

I even had to ask chatgpt and it started giving me different answer altogether. It ends up wasting so much study time.

Please refer the question and answer in next slides.

I am still not able to get it, what should be the answer as per book, gpt and me, all amounts are coming different.
