Foggy New England Lighthouse and bay Art Class coming up

I’m taking an online free art class today of watercolor painting of a foggy New England Bay and Marina with boats and a lighthouse.

I’m not gonna be able to finish these today, but I will post once I’m done hoping they look anything like the artist renditions which are phenomenal and fun looking it really puts me in the mood of needing to watch widows Bay again even though I’m in Florida and it’s gonna be 115° heat index today.

I found this on Facebook if anyone’s interested I can find the link and send it to you but right now I’m just in my Email reviewing the materials list and frantically gathering all the materials since it starts in an hour, but I’m gonna have to watch the replay cause I won’t be able to attend today’s class entirely.

I’m loving seeing all the fanart of not just this show but other shows I watch like severance and would love to see everyone’s costumes artwork all those cute little needlepoint things that people are doing an honor of Ruth anything else that you guys have please post would love to see them all. I love all the creative ideas people have.

Also, I love lighthouses.

Recommend watching How to get to Heaven for Belfast

I recommend watching How to get to Heaven from Belfast if you’re missing some quirkiness in a well written series with humor that has some serious subjects (although not a haunt in sight or to be mentioned - shucks!) but has mystery that keeps you guessing.

Someone here recommended Deadloch but this is more of a quirky detective whodunnit focused more on the detectives and the small town feel. It’s a bit too slapstick for me - yeah it’s funny but in a more raunchy way. Wasn’t expecting a lesbian detective show. That’s what I liked about Widow’s Bay - Katie didn’t have to stoop to having sex and sexual scenes or drama tropes - it is fine just as it is and safe for all ages (as I watch with my daughter and her BF there isn’t a cringe sex scene to be found).
HTGTHFB has minor scenes like that or subject but not too much. And I enjoyed the laughter that ensued. The ensemble characters especially the 3 main women are pretty funny as they are all unique in their own way and remind me of the core ensemble in this series.

Heck even the black cop in a mostly white town is there.

Let me know if you like it but I am struggling with Deadloch (I gave up on boring and dark - literally too dark - Silo and so saw recos on here for Deadloch)

Rest in Peace, Glen Hansard

It’s impossible to believe that so soon after watching him lead the ceremonials for Shane MacGowan, we have to eulogize this pillar of Irish music and culture. A deep loss.
