Pricing help

We bought this bike back in San Diego (2022) when gas prices were high. It was used to commute to work at a Navy base. We have moved to the east coast since then and we don't really trust residential drivers enough to safely ride around here.

I wanted to sell it, but I have no idea how to price it. It is a RadCity ST 3 and I have an email receipt. It has been stored in the garage for a while. Battery was able to charge fully and test ride seemed fine. No clicking, no brake issues, chain seemed/looked fine. According to the odometer, it has 366 miles on it. Cog wheels have a little bit of rust on them. Is there anything else I should look into?

Printer support scammer or just crazy prices?

My stepfather’s brother in law is an elderly man who knows very little about technology. His printer wasn’t working, so he called HP support.

They somehow got into logmeinrescue and took over his laptop. The guy started showing some random graphs and saying that his IP address is exposed and that it is like a social security number for computers. They gave him the option paying $400 to fix the printer or $1000 for a 5 year plan. By this time he was feeling iffy and told them he was not comfortable disclosing any more of his info.

When I looked through his computer, I did see a logmeinrescue window open, but didn’t see any new programs installed. He doesn’t have any important files on the computer and his online banking requires 2 factor authentication. Is there anything that can be compromised?

When I asked him details about what went on, he didn’t seem to have much of an idea of what went on. It is quite likely that he was overwhelmed by all the random bs the other guy was throwing. I don’t even know where he got the number to call.
