Cygolite Hypershot Light

I occasionally get motorists commenting that this tail light is too bright, and asking “is it legal”. Have others had such comments?

HP Velotechnik Scorpion FS20 2019 - advice sought

In 2019 my father in law bought HP Velotechnik Scorpion FS20 recumbent e-tricycle at the age of 92. He was a keen cyclist and old age had reduced his balance and strength but he still wanted to ride! He paid AUD $16,242. He found it impractical to use, only riding it briefly twice. It has sat in his garage unused since. I plan to sell it and am seeking advice about what starting price would be appropriate. It’s located in ACT, Australia. Here are some photos and the specifications. Looking forward to your comments.

Falcon XH Longreach UTE

Looks like an honest hardworking survivor. Can anyone advise on the practicality of buying one of these to use for daily commuting. Are they time and money pits or a classic that will be reliable, useful and fun?

Lowest L/100km so far!

3.2L/100km on my 55km commute to work, a 50/50 mix of stop start suburban arterial roads and motorway driving at 7am.

Mirror and light on 50mm handlebar extension

Mirracycle mirror and extra Cygolite Hypershot mounted on 50mm handlebar extender on traffic side. Sometimes I also mount my cameras on this. I think this is the ideal location for such safety accessories.

Picked up a Prius Itech. It’s using 3.5L/100km on a 60km commute, a 50/50 mix of heavy urban traffic and and motorway driving. My other car, a CX5, uses about 8.5L/100km on the same trip.
