Attention Smith auto enjoyers.
I see that smith autos are making a bit of comeback and to be honest there’s not much out there for holsters that fit these pistols. Sure you could get a kydex made but these are classic American pistols and they deserve leather. This holster was made for me by Dave at Ronin Leather Holsters for my 5906. Despite the slight difference in frame and trigger guard it also fits my 59 perfectly. Dave was an absolute pleasure to work with, the guy is a real class act. The holster is STIFF, retention is great, ride height is perfect for my draw, it’s comfortable, it conceals well, I had him put Velcro on for a wedge but I’m not going to need it. The holster does a good enough job without it. Now by biggest issue is deciding what holster I am going to have him make next.
