Gibberish

My husband (M67) was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's a few years ago. A few times he will talk absolute gibberish.

The words he uses are actual words but they are strung together in a garbled mess. It never lasts very long and then he is back to talking normal.

I've tried to get him to go to the ER but he refuses. We see his neurologist in six weeks and I'll definitely bring this up.

I was thinking this was a mini stroke or a TIA, it now wonder if it's part of the disease and his brain is misfiring.

Any ideas?

Neighbor & Vandalism

Location: Houston, TX

We received a certified letter today from my neighbor. He is accusing us of entering his property, his backyard, with lawn equipment and destroying his property. We live in a community where everyone has a 6 foot high fence. There's no way we could enter his property without going through his gate. Nor would we.

On one of the dates in question my husband was having extensive dental surgery and definitely was not mowing any lawns as I was with him as well. He sent a another certified letter to my neighbor across the street accusing her of various property crimes. His letter ended with telling me that we should wise up and govern ourselves accordingly. Which feels slightly threatening.

I've sent a copy of this to our HOA. Should I do anything else? He has not given me any video or photographic evidence that he claims he has. He said he sent it to our local sheriff, but I have not heard anything yet. Should I be worried? Should I ask my lawyer to send a cease-and-desist letter threatening legal action. This whole thing is just so weird.

I'm in the Houston TX area.

LO leaves water running

My husband (68) has started to help in the kitchen. This after over 35 years of never helping. It's small like rinsing out the cat food cans or the coffee pot, putting dishes in the dishwasher, etc.

However I've noticed several times where he leaves the faucet running and just walks away. We have a pull down faucet with a sprayer. Is there anything that has an auto shut off?

Wants to go everywhere with me

My husband (67) was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's about 2 years ago.

He now wants to go with me anytime i leave the house on an errand. I normally am fine with it. However he now has a habit of getting up from wherever hes sitting and count where I am and just stare at me or ask me benign questions. Its constsnt and becoming irritating. How do I stop this?

Rippling.AI Serious or Sarcasm

I can't figure out if the Rippling.AI commercial is serious or if it's all sarcasm. They have this guy with an accent where I can't quite understand what he's saying with go karts running around a track. Then he yells at me.

Not quite sure what they sell, but whatever is I don't want it.

My SO is bored

My husband had mild to moderate early onset Alzheimer's. He's 68.

I'm still working. He calls me several times a day and tells me he is bored.

I don't know what to do. He doesn't really have close friends. He enjoyed golfing but now it's either too hot or he will go and then quit because he says it's too slow.

He has no other hobbies, doesn't read or do other things around the house. I'm at a loss.

Bedding & Fleece

I currently have the Midwest cages. I put down the guinea pig pads that have the absorbent backing and quilting on the front.

I also put in the pee pads (the ones that look like a looped bath mat).

Do I need to add fleece as well on top of all that? They seem to be happy and it's very easy clean up
