What are we doing today that future generations will consider morally indefensible, even though most of us barely question it?

Every generation inherits practices that feel ordinary simply because everyone around them accepts them.
A century later, some of those same practices can look cruel, irrational, wasteful, or unbelievably primitive.
The difficult part is that the people living through them usually don’t realize they’re witnessing something future generations will condemn.
So what do you think we’re currently too close to see clearly?
It could be something involving healthcare, work, technology, privacy, food, the environment, education, transportation, social media, or something completely different.
What will people in 2100 look back on and genuinely ask:
“How was this ever considered normal?”

If anyone can share his thoughts about this.

What scientific discovery happening right now do you think people in 2100 will look back on as a turning point?

We’re living through CRISPR gene editing, AI-assisted drug discovery, lab-grown tissues, reusable rockets, brain-computer interfaces, fusion research, and telescopes looking deeper into the universe than ever before.
The strange part is that the discovery that changes everything might not be the one getting the biggest headlines today.

The back pain that can actually feel WORSE with rest — what do you wish you knew before being diagnosed with ankylosing spondylitis?

One thing that surprised me about ankylosing spondylitis/axial spondyloarthritis is how easily the early symptoms can be mistaken for “normal” back pain.
Morning stiffness. Pain at night. Feeling worse after sitting around, but sometimes better once you start moving.
For people actually living with AS/axSpA: what was the first symptom that made you realize something wasn’t right? How long did it take to get diagnosed, and what do you wish someone had told you at the beginning?
Also curious what has made the biggest difference in your everyday life — treatment, exercise, physiotherapy, lifestyle changes, or simply finally having an explanation for the pain.
Would love to hear real experiences, especially from people who spent years being told it was “just back pain.”
