Hi guys - I’m looking to purchase a 32 inch LG ultragear monitor to set up alongside my Dell S Series 34 inch curved ultrawide monitor.

My question is this: do you think I can viably use the LG monitor alongside my Dell monitor for work (LG will be in portrait mode) and also on its own (LG will be in landscape) for gaming on my Xbox series x (no Dell will be used when gaming)?

I guess my concerns are simply burn in from work (rather than gaming) and if people have actually tried something like this and found it doesn’t work etc.

We’re just by Ealing Common and have no fibre internet on our street.

I’m no reduced to an EE connection which gives me around 50 MB of speed.

I’m now contemplating getting additional resources, like a 5G broadband from Vodafone and / or getting Starlink.

Does anyone have any tips? They would be much appreciated.

Hi guys - I’ve got my 18 month scan and tests on Monday next week. My oncologist has always told me that my chances of recurrence at this juncture are / will be 40%. I asked him what symptoms I should watch out for which might signal recurrence and he said new and persistent back pain.

Now, as the scan approaches, I feel like I sometimes have pain but not all the time and I feel like it may be psychosomatic.

My question to you gents is this: were there any symptoms you saw just before your critical scans? OR will a scan show a recurrence even in circumstances where NO symptoms have physical manifested themselves?

I guess I’m just trying to see if I can preempt anything.

(Obvs I should just sit tight and wait for the scans but I’m very nervous so am asking all kinds of stupid questions)

Does anyone have any experience of Carboplatin?

I have a 40% chance of recurrence - I had Stage 1A Seminoma, diagnosed and operated on last year, and the recurrence risk kicks in in June, says my Onco. Apparently, if it does materialise, then I will get three shots of Carboplatin, spaced out over 6 weeks, with one every two weeks.

I’m interested in finding out if anyone has any experience that they’d be happy to share.
