How Consciousness Folds Itself into Reality
I have developed a model of reality as a 12D consciousness manifold. Consciousness is fundamental. Reality is a universal consciousness field that some esoteric traditions name the One Source, the Divine, or Absolute Spirit in Hegelian philosophy, or simply the One in Neoplatonism.
Religions tend to call this God.
And this concept is sometimes invoked to explain the complexity of the universe. The appearance of “fine-tuning” has led many to conclude that the universe must have been designed.
The usual rebuttal to this argument criticizes it as achieving a little more than “kicking the can of complexity up the road.” If the universe is so finally tuned that its structure could only have been the product of design, wouldn’t God require an even greater designer?
This would seem to lead to an infinite regress of evermore complex creators… except for one flawed assumption. The objection has force only if the One Source is imagined as a maximally complex. But my theory, the Geometry of Intention, proposes the opposite.
The deepest reality is not maximal complexity, it is ultimate simplicity.
The Source is absolute unity and coherence. Complexity only arises once unity begins to differentiate itself. This differentiation process happens through the only possible action that can take place at this point: the consciousness field becoming aware of itself.
In my theory, each one of the 12 dimensions arises out of successive instances of the Consciousness Field “taking a step back” to become aware of itself. Each time it does this, it creates a new orthogonal structure within reality— a structure of which it can then become aware yet again. And that awareness becomes yet another orthogonal structure, i.e. dimension.
But this process cannot go on forever, due to the nature of each of these dimensions. As you can see in the following article (link below), it bottoms out at D1, which is sheer presence/being. In this way, the 12D manifold forms a toroidal structure that not only explains how the universe comes into being, or a new sense of dimensionality, but why reality has precisely this number of dimensions and how they close back on themselves.
