Had My First Fibroscan Results (Don't Know How to Interpret the Results)!

Hey everyone! So a few weeks ago I was getting an ultrasound of my abdomen done and they noted that my liver was enlarged, which totally caught me by suprise and freaked me out. I went to my doctor who said I likely have fatty liver and referred me out for a Fibroscan of my liver. Well I just had my Fibroscan done today and on MyChart when I went to looks at the results the doctors impression was as follows. Nobody in the office explained anything about my results for me so I have no idea how to interpret this "impression" part. If anyone has any idea about what this info bellow means, id greatly appreciate it, as I get anxious and dont have a follow up appointment with a GI specialist until June 5th and I dont really want to wait that long just to understand and interpret my results 😅. Ill try calling the GI clinic tomorrow to see if I can like speak to a doctor or NP about my results (not to sure if thats a thing or not, but I hope it is lol). Any information would be appreciated, I know you cant ask for medical advice on here, so I'm not sure if im even allowed to ask how to interpret lab results on here, so if this isn't allowed Mods its OK to remove my post!!

Impression: Median liver stiffness score was 3.6 kPa corresponding to a liver fibrosis stage F0 or F1; No scarring based on the table below. LiSA of 322 dB/m corresponding with >67% or severe liver steatosis.

Wanted Just CBD Vape For Pain

So ive never smoked or done drugs but a coworker recommended i try full spectrum cbd vape for my chronic ibs pain and cramping. I have zero knowledge about any of this so I went to a local dispensary and explained to the lady that I wanted a full spectrum cbd vape that would have little to no psychoactive effect, she told me she had exactly what I asked for and I stupidly bought it thinking she knew best and was looking out for me. However once I got home and looked at the back of the cartridge pack it said it had 40% THC, so im assuming im screwed, especially because I didn't want any psychoactive effects and have zero tolerance so if I smoked this im 1000% sure id green out.

I went to a different dispensary and told the guy exactly the same stuff I was looking for as the first lady and he grabbed me a full spectrum cbd disposable vape that says it has less than 0.3% Delta 9 THC, and should have little to no psychoactive effects except help with pain.

Because I literally dont know anything could people of the community please look at the attached pictures and tell me what if anything is safe for me to use if I want minimal to no psychoactive effects. I think the disposable is ok, but I want some expert opinions first thanks!!

Recently found out I had an enlarged liver with enzymes in the 120s. I had a CT and it showed mild fatty liver. I've immediately stopped drinking and am struggling to switch my diet to Mediterranean diet, I struggle shopping, planning and preparing meals for myself even as a 33 year old male (which is know is insanely sad), but with this app im able to scan items as im hoping and it can tell me whether it meets the Mediterranean criteria which would for me be a convenient God send, and make my shopping trips easier.

My question to the community is, had anyone else heard or used this Fig app, did they also find it helpful as a guide for someone inexperienced like myself. Almost like a ease in for beginners. And if not is there any other kind of resources I could be using shopping or cooking to make feeding myself well a bit easier? Thanks so much everyone, im not lying when I say you all have been a god send during my transition into living healthier after my fatty liver diagnosis that's scared the shit out of me ❤️❤️!!!!!

So I'd recently started noticing a dull kind of pain right where my liver is located, it concerned me so I got some bloodwork done at my doctor's and it revealed I had elevated liver enzymes, I was pretty scared waiting a week for a contrast CT appointment. The scan did confirm it was fatty liver, luckily the doctor said I caught it pretty early and it should be totally reversible if I cut all alcohol out of my diet (which i rarely drank anyways so that one doesn't sound to hard), that I needed to start exercising more every week and lastly I need to start eating healthier.

Im not gunna lie, stopping alcohol and exercising seems very doable, but what daunting me the most is how I even begin to start eating all the right things, I've just never been the most healthy person so I don't know where to begin. Does anyone have any advice on where to start or any tips or tricks that could maybe make this a bit easier to get started? Thanks!

Ill start by saying that im sure the root cause of my issue is alcohol related, Id been sober for 12 years and prior to that really only drank on occasion, drugs were mostly my issue. Maybe 5 weeks ago I was starting to get abdominal pain, went to urgent care and er and was told they didn't know why, I wasn't sleeping and was in a state where I was constantly "uncomfortable" not like accute pain but just enough to make me not feel normal when standing, sitting, laying down. I finally started drinking because none of the doctors were able to help manage my symptoms in anyway. Im not proud of it but the drinking did at least give me some brief relief and the ability to sleep more than 2 hours. I started getting a dull ache feeling where my liver was recently and went to the doctor and was honest about my drinking, they took a blood draw and my AST was 104 and my ALT was 105. I know its probably fatty liver but my brain keeps going to im dying. I'm definitely going to be quitting alcohol again but im wondering if anyone else here has felt that dull ache I described and whether it went away once you stopped drinking. All in all I just hate waiting for results and I don't think I can schedule an ultrasound quickly, my doctor requested a contrast CT which is a week out, but im not sure that would give any info on my liver. So I feel stuck in my head and scared. Anyone else who has knowledge or experience I would very much like to hear your thoughts!
