Has anyone recently received a T13 LMIA-exempt employer-specific work permit (BC PNP Work Permit Support Letter)?

I'm looking for recent timelines for inland applicants.

If you've been approved, could you please share:

  • Application date
  • Approval date
  • Inland or outland
  • Whether your spouse also applied for an SOWP

I submitted my T13 employer-specific work permit (BC PNP nomination + Work Permit Support Letter) and my spouse's SOWP in July 2026, and I'm trying to get a realistic idea of current processing times.

Thanks!

GCMS Notes Timeline – Recent Experiences?

Hi all,
For those who recently ordered GCMS notes, how long did it take to receive them? Are they still arriving within 30 days, or are there delays lately?
Thanks!

How long did BOWP + SOWP processing times 2026 actually take?

Hi everyone, we just submitted PR (AOR in May 2026) ( through BC PNP Express Entry stream). WP expires in August 2026 so we're trying to plan our BOWP and SOWP application timeline carefully.

Official IRCC tool shows ~7 months for inland work permits, but I've seen community data suggesting 2–4 months for BOWP specifically. Trying to get a clearer picture from real recent cases.

If you've recently applied for BOWP or SOWP (2025–2026), could you share:

  1. How long did BOWP + SOWP processing times actually take?
  2. Did you submit BOWP and SOWP together or separately?

Thank you so so much! 🙏

Hi everyone,

About us:

• A married couple living together in Vancouver

• I'm the principal applicant — working full-time in a TEER 0 managerial role at a Tech company in BC, work permit valid until August, 2026

• My spouse did not apply for a PGWP after graduating from the University in BC — (never held a work permit in Canada). His study permit expired, and he filed a visitor restoration (AOR received, application pending). He is in Canada with me under that pending restoration and cannot work

PR pathway:

• I received a BC PNP nomination under Express Entry BC Skilled Worker

• Expecting federal ITA at the May 11, 2026 draw, will submit PR within 60 days — husband included as accompanying spouse

• After PR AOR, I plan to file my BOWP (A75)

We believe the right path is C41 — open work permit as the spouse of a work permit holder.

Question:

• Is C41 actually the right pathway given our situation, or are we missing something?

• Does my husband need to wait for my BOWP to be approved before submitting his C41, or can we file both simultaneously right after PR AOR?

• Are there risks or blockers here we haven't identified?

• Has anyone done a C41 where the spouse was on visitor restoration and had never held a Canadian work permit?

• Any lessons from your own experience — things you wish you'd known before filing?

Any real-world experience helps immensely.

Thank you 🙏
