summer classes

ik this is another summer classes post but i have to ask. would 2 classes be fine for summer? i am taking an art class and us gov (12 weeks) and i was a part time student for spring sem (9 credits) would this be too much of a workload? i was told for summer classes to take half of what you normally take for a 16 week sem but idk, any advice would be appreciated 🩷

sometimes i feel i enabled him

back last August i (f26) ended things with someone (m25) for a plethora of reasons, but his drinking problem was one of them. i know he has found someone else and i do genuinely hope he’s happy but at times i feel so angry and so guilty. we saw each other for 9 months and i didn’t know until the last 2 weeks of whatever that was. i remember confiding in him that i grew up around alcoholism bc I had a late family member who suffered from it for as long as i can remember. he listened to me and was understanding, which i cant make sense of what he did.

there was a point where i wanted to know what we were, we were both drinking but he was very drunk. he then cried and told me he turned to drinking, lost friendships over it, looks forward to the weekend to drink now that he has a job he has to commit to. he told me he didn’t deserve me, that i deserved someone who loved me and was sober. told me that he could only have the hard conversations with anyone and me when he was drunk. i was worried and wanted to talk to him abt this. he refused to acknowledge what happened and i cut him off but still told him i would support him if he needed me.

i won’t lie, i broke NC to say some not nice things to him and im sure he has labeled me as a crazy ex to the next woman. but sometimes i can’t help but think maybe i enabled him, maybe he had to drink to put up with me. maybe he won’t do that with her. it’s been months and i don’t know why i still feel bent out of shape
