Free book from Rachelle Ayala

I believe her books are created using AI. Of the ones I’ve read, they are well done, unlike others AI generated P&P stories.
This one is currently free if you want to check it out.

Austenesque Reviews website

I thought I’d share…For those who don’t already know about it, Austenesque Reviews is a well executed website you can subscribe to and use to find new books to read, reviews, author interviews, and book giveaways. All things related to published Jane Austen FF.
Each month, there’s an end of month list of published works. Also, archived lists of stories by rating, by author, by JA work and so much more. Austenesque Reviews
It is a great resource. I am not personally connected in this website except as a subscriber. I hope some of you find it useful.

Freebie

A couple of free P&P books-
I received an alert that Jennifer Altman’s “Faults of Understanding” is free on Amazon. It is very good. 4.6 stars. I subscribe to EReaderIQ. It’s a cool service where you list your favorite authors on a watchlist. If there’s a price drop, EReaderIQ sends an email. Link to get a copy: Faults of Understanding

Also noticed that Abigail Reynold’s book Mr Darcy’s Noble Connections is also free.
Both are very well written. I already own them

Help me help a 12 year old

My 12 yr old niece lives with her grandparents- my 72yr old brother & his 71 yr old wife,my SiL. They have been her legal guardians since she was 1yr old. Mother died when she was an infant & dad went off the deep end & has minor contact with this little girl. The result… grandparents stepped up and are raising her.
Grandma was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s a year ago. It’s was early stage but short term memory decline is very noticeable. She also, almost daily, becomes unnecessarily upset over the most minor things that, to me and to 12 yo, make no sense and grandma can’t articulate a reason. And grandma stays mad for a day or more, often punishes, yells, etc. The 12 yr old is an excellent student, has tons of friends, and a joy to spend time with. But frustrated because she constantly walks on egg shells.

I think my niece needs to talk to someone about her home life who can help her better understand this disease and advise her on how to cope with and respond to her grandmother.
Any suggestions for the type of therapist or counselor that can help with this.
