Assyriology

Content Warning: Vague-posting

Considering how much trade was (apparently) occurring between the Indus-Valley sites and Mesopotamia, I was unable to find any institutes/organizations in India that look into Assyriology. Could Assyriology play a crucial role into uncovering clues about the Indus-Valley Civilization? I am asking in light of the recent discovery of Tamil and Prakrit inscriptions in the Valley of the Kings. If I remember correctly, they took so long to discover because there were very few scholars who were interested in Egyptology who could identify the Indic scripts, or the other way around. I am just wondering if a similar situation exists in relation to Assyriology.

Cuneiform-like alphabet for Sanskrit and Malayāļam

This one just takes the wedges from Cuneiform writing and builds an alphabet from scratch. I have also made another cuneiform alphabet based off of Old Persian, but I didn't transliterate the sounds to any latin standard yet.

There are no separate symbols for (i, y), (u,v), (r,ṛ), etc. However, since dipthongs are spearately written, there would be no ambiguities. An "i" followed/preceded by a vowel would sound "y", and so on.

Additional signs have been made to account for the sounds not present in sanskrit, but present in Malayāļam.

The script is intended to be used as a proper alphabet, unlike most Indian scripts which are Abugidas.

What do you guys think?
