Cooler spill when camping; ‘25 Ultimate Hybrid

My dad accidentally yanked the cooler valve when pulling out our camping chair, noticed the spill when our bags got wet. Im concerned whether this spill will affect our hybrid battery or not? This pic is 2 days old, and we had dried it the same day. The car was perfectly fine when driving back (about 350km journey). I got about 16.5kmpl when driving back and it kept switching to EV normally so Im assuming its all well. Just wanted to ask if there is anything i should get checked out or I’ll be fine?

Also, I found this unknown device stuck in the bottom corner (2nd Image). I accidentally got my hands on it when drying the trunk. Any idea what it is?

EDS285 with Paul Alexander

I recently saw Paul Alexander's rating on ratemyprof, and its pretty bad. From anyone that has taken this couse before, how was it? Is it manageable to get a 4.0? Any tips or advice? I'd really appreciate it. Thanks

Tried smart mode for the first time (Mostly highway driving + a little city detour due to traffic)

Drove at 115-120 km/h before and after traffic, does the fuel economy get better than this or this is the max for highway?

Is it possible to skip 1 lecture every week for bio206 and bio209?

Hi all, I was trying to get Monday and Friday off for my fall timetable. But I have one bio206 lecture on Monday evening and 1 bio209 lecture Friday morning. Does anyone from their experience know if I will be fine if I skip the lecture on just these two days or would recommend not skipping?

I appreciate any help/guidance anybody could provide. Thank you!

My club experiences are not visible on CCR

I submitted the required documents to the President of both of my clubs before the deadline, which was near the end of March. I just checked folio today for my CCR and it does not show up there.

I wanted to apply for positions that require CCR so I wanted to know if anyone here has any idea when they're up? Thank you!

EDS210, 285 and 300 - Need Advice

Hello, I am going into my second year with a eds minor and a bio for health sci major. I was planning on doing EDS210 and 285 in the fall semester and then EDS300 in the winter. Due to the state of my gpa, I cannot afford to get anything below a 90 in these 3 courses. For anyone that has already taken these courses, how easy or doable is it to get a 90 in these courses? Do you have any advice on how to study for this course?

I would appreciate any advice that you can provide. I am also open to any other course suggestions. Thank you!

Is EDS325 a bird course?

Im going into my 2nd year as a bio for health sci major, and eds and soc minor, and I came across EDS325, which fits very well into my timetable. I was just confused as to what this actually is? Do I work as a FSG leader or what? Also, is it manageable to get a 4.0 in this if Im taking it along with 2nd year bio courses?

Is it worth it to take orgo chem during undergrad if gpa is low?

Hello! I am going into second year at UofT Life Science, and my gpa is a bit cooked... I am hoping to make to a 3.3-3.4 if I get perfect in all of my summer courses. I have heard some bad reviews about the orgo chem course at my university, so I wanted to ask people that have already completed their MCAT or are preparing for it, is it really worth it to take the gamble with my gpa by doing orgo chem second year or should I just self study? I already have the Kaplan set that I bought last month, which I can use to study.

For background, I also haven't taken physics since highschool and never taken psychology. I am a bio major with a minor in sociology and education studies. I am aiming to do my MCAT during August 2027.

I would appreciate any help/info. Thank you!

EDIT: This is for Ontario, Canada

SOC Minor- GPA friendly or not?

Hello! I just completed first year and I am majoring in Bio for health sci with a minor in education studies and I was thinking of sociology as my second minor (will be applying round 2 for soc). I just wanted some advice from people who are already doing sociology minor on it being gpa friendly or not? I am intending to take this minor just for the sake of it helping with my gpa.

Is it a good choice or should I consider something like a english minor?

Thank you!

'25 Elantra Luxury Hybrid Jerky Transmission

It's been 11 months since I've owned my '25 Elantra Hybrid and have now clocked 24000 km on it. I've been noticing since winter that during a cold start, the first few gears are extremely jerky... I dismissed the thought thinking its normal because after the car iswarmed up, it returned to running normally, but now the same thing happened today during the summer. It was 28 degrees Celsius outside and my cars temperature was set to 21 with auto turned on. The first couple minutes of driving were extremely jerky... It felt just like stalling a manual car every time it switched gears in the city. I just wanted some advice on whether this is normal or its something I should get inspected by the dealership? Thank you!

For anyone that has taken SOC 100 over the summer, how's your experience about writing the test and exam online? I am just curious because idk how they can trust people with writing a test and exam online. Also, how difficult is the test and exam? Unlike fall/winter, there is only one test worth 27%. Thank you!

I took soc100 in the summer but the thursday lecture conflicts with my fsc100 lecture... from those of you that have taken soc100 in the past, is it possible to do good in the course without attending a few lectures?
