Alright, so this is the first one he made me. I started looking at my Facebook to see what the timeline was and here’s the lore:

I was 18 at the time and had graduated high school in May. We met and started dating in August of 2011, I believe he was 3 years older than me? I was living in central California at the time and he lived in Portland. I visited him once around October. I broke up with him around January or February in 2012. Yes, the excuse was that he was too nice. But in reality, I think it was just a lot. He wanted to be more serious, wanted me to move to Portland and at the time I couldn’t even decide if I was going to the universities I got accepted to.

A lot of you told me to look him up. I thought we hadn’t spoken since 2012 but we actually did connect briefly in 2024.

Upon much thought, I won’t be reaching out. I asked one of our long time mutuals how he’s been. He moved back to his home state (he is no longer in Portland). I live in Arizona now. We’ve both been married and now divorced. He sounds like he’s doing good though, and that’s great.

It was really cool reminiscing though! I found a lot of pictures of us I didn’t know I still had. Funny enough, I’m going back to Portland for the first time since 2011 in two weeks.

I dated this guy in the early 2010's who would make me fucking mixtapes. I found one of them today.

I broke up with him because he was "too nice.” What a fucking idiot.

I wonder how he is now. I hope he's good tbh.

This was a 2fer I couldn’t pass up. Dream Warriors is my favorite out of the whole franchise. I mean Dokken alone sells it for me but the whole movie is so great.

I’ve been eyeing it for weeks at the local antique mall and I pulled the trigger today because I was sad about Arsenal 🥹

Walked in with every intention of buying new records but saw this out of the corner of my eye literally right as I walked in. I asked the dude at the counter if it was going on the floor and he said yeah tomorrow so I was like sick ok I’ll come back and started walking out. And he was like wait why are you leaving and I was like bc I had every intention of spending money on records but that’s probably gonna be priced at what I was planning on spending. Anyway. I was right and he ended up just selling it to me right there and then. And I screeched. Thanks for coming to my ted talk.
