I recently moved to Australia for my masters in EE this semester. Ive heard before that making friends after getting older is much harder and being 25, i can see why now. The people in my classes are a bit standoffish and sometimes justifiably busy. People are mostly cordial but i think naturally they’ve already done their share of socialization and made their group of friends. It’s just a bit jarring to walk about in campus with not many people to talk to or hangout with.

How have you guys managed to find your people this “relatively late” in life? Do mixers work? Any other tips as a new student here are appreciated.

I recently moved to Melbourne as a masters student and am currently trying to find a cheap, multi purpose rub that I can marinate chicken beef or vegetables with. Any suggestions?

I’d also appreciate a toum recipe with minimal calories. Thank you!
