Too many new restaurants and new brands launching in mangalore zone. Whats going on peeps?!

There have been a lot of new restaurants, brands, and viral food concepts popping up across Mangalore. Everyone seems to be chasing the next big launch, trying to become the next “viral” brand.

But at the same time, we’re also seeing many restaurants shut down after suffering huge losses.

Is the industry changing? Are customers becoming more experimental, or is the market simply becoming overcrowded? Is chasing trends and virality enough to sustain a food business in the long run?

What do you guys think — where is Mangalore’s food industry headed?

Swiggy please stop running ads against restaurant owners consent

This is extremely disappointing for a restaurant owner, especially when Swiggy is implementing such charges without the restaurant’s consent. They are effectively deducting approx 50% of the total order value from the net payout. What is even more concerning is that, despite all offers being deactivated from our end, Swiggy is still running a ₹70 off coupon on our orders without our approval.

Boycott is really necessary at this point until new aggregators join and dominate the market with lesser commission value.

Swiggy founders heist, not acceptable, waiting for your downfall

I am a restaurant owner and I am being robbed off daily from my hard earned sales. Swiggy is giving away my share of income to tax , long journey delivery fees , high commission towards services and I am left with 1/5th of the payment not even breaking even or going below above cogs. Pathetic application and did not expect that I would be logging out permanently so soon. So before I leave, I would like to alert and highlight to new restaurant owners who can be saved from these cons . I only wish to see Swiggy founders go bankrupt and beg in the streets for these unethical money minting practices
