

Swiggy/ Instamart delivery fraud
Yesterday around 2 PM, I placed a Swiggy Instamart grocery order worth around ₹550. Within about 20 minutes, the delivery partner marked the order as “delivered,” but I never received anything.
I immediately contacted Swiggy support through chat and email. After waiting, this is the response I received from Instamart support:
That’s it. No proof of delivery, no proper investigation, no attempt to verify with the delivery partner — just a straight refusal to refund.
The delivery partner didn’t properly contact me before marking the order as delivered either. I checked nearby houses/buildings as well, but the groceries were nowhere to be found.
What’s frustrating is that the email itself acknowledges the “unpleasant experience,” but they still refuse to refund for an order I never received. Paying ₹550 and then getting generic copy-paste replies honestly feels like a scam.
Has anyone else faced this with Swiggy Instamart recently? What’s the best way to escalate this — consumer court, chargeback, social media escalation, or NCH complaint?
