Honestly, monitor shopping in India is turning into a complete headache with all the model variants, panel lotteries, and weird spec compromises. Need some real-world advice from people who’ve already been down this rabbit hole.

I’m building a clean productivity setup around my Mac air m1. My main focus is heavy multi-tasking—I need to handle multiple windows side-by-side on one single continuous screen without constantly switching tabs or relying on dual monitors.

Here are my non-negotiables:

• 📐 Form Factor: Ultra-wide (21:9) (32 inch-34 inch)
• 🖥️ Panel Type: IPS ONLY. Strictly NO VA panels. I do a lot of text/code work, so I can't tolerate black smearing or bad viewing angles.
• ⚡ Refresh Rate: Minimum 100Hz. Skipping 60Hz entirely—I need that smooth scrolling and fluid Mac UI experience.
• 🔌 USB-C Support: Optional / Preferred (single-cable display + PD charging for Mac would be a huge plus, but not a dealbreaker if the display quality is top-tier).
• 🔊 Speakers: Optional / don't really care.

Questions for the sub:

1. Any specific models currently available in the Indian market that fit this spec sheet?
2. Which brands should I WHITELIST vs AVOID in India regarding after-sales service, warranty claims, and QC issues (dead pixels, backlight bleed, panel defects)? (How are LG, Dell, Gigabyte, Acer, MSI holding up lately?)

Really fed up with endlessly comparing specs on Amazon, Flipkart, and local store listings. Any solid recommendations or warning stories would be hugely appreciated!
