Osko payments down. Lies in their up-time page

Outbound Osko payments are down. Looks like it's actually Bendigo Bank's issue.

I have a urgent loan settlement payment to make today. I'm so stressed about this. I can't even just do a normal transfer without Osko. I'm so screwed if this doesn't get resovled soon.

The worst part is Up's uptime page https://up.com.au/up-time (last section) specifically says that outages exclude the inability to initiate a bank transfer. Complete actual lie.

>Ability of Up to process bank account transfers, with funds becoming available to the recipient on the next business day or later. Includes account-to-account transfers (Pay Anyone) and scheduled payments (for example, direct debits, and payroll payments by businesses) not made as fast payments through NPP/Osko, and BPAY payments. Outages exclude the inability to initiate payments due to unavailability of web or app banking channels, or a branch.

There has to be consequences for this kind of misinformation. Is there like a ACCC but for banks.

Support disagrees with me about what those words mean. Am I blinded by stress and reading it wrong? Because it seems super clear cut to me.

I built a NFC reader to Automagically play Music when I put a CD case on a display stand.

A little while back I posted here the dumbest question ever about how to get a media playing automation to even begin to work, and you guys were really nice and helpful.

After much self learning and work. I finally got the completed solution done. And it works surprisingly well, it's seamless and a very cool party trick.
I have NFC tags stuck to the underside of the CD spindle (fits like a glove). I put the CD case on a nice little bamboo phone stand (that has the NFC reader hidden behind it), and basically instantly that album starts playing on the nearby Nest Hub like magic.

I've came back so others don't have to go through what I did, sharing a few simple files (literally only 3 in the repo) and a straight forward walkthrough. I say straight forward, it does assume beginner level command line experience, or at least the ability to comprehend any errors you run into enough to ask your favourite LLM for help.

I've included both how to wire and program the NFC reader. And a script that automatically matches tag names (that you've named the album names) to the album IDs in Music Assistant, and then updates the single automation rule in Home Assistant directly. Adding new tags is as simple as scanning it, naming it, and rerunning the script.

Here's the project. Enjoy.

Help me play music on a android phone via automation

I've spent hours trying to work this out with so many guides and extra apps and googling and AI and I'm about to tear this whole thing out. The goal is to be able to scan a NFC tag that's in a CD case with my phone. Which will trigger a automation to play a digital copy of that album.

I feel like that should be easy but I'm going crazy here.

On my home server I have Home assistant server setup, I've also now got music assistant server setup. My music server(s) are Navidrome and Jellyfin. Navidrome is connected to music assistant, and in turn connected to home assistant.

On my phone ive got the home assistant app. I've added and written to the NFC tag. I've also got a number of media playing apps to choose from. Jellyfin, Jellify, Symfonium, happy to grab another.

I go into automation. I select scan that tag in the 'When' section. Going well so far.

Then in the 'Then do' section. What the hell do i do here to get this thing to play a album or song or something. Going through the obvious "play media" option and im lost immediately. how do i pick my phone or a song. theres no relevant options.

I'm clearly doing something very wrong here or missing something very obvious because I'm stupid. Please help.
