I used to be a denier in the height pill. Not anymore...

Girl photoshops her bf as a super tall guy and mocks him on social media for his height. the last image is the real unedited photo

i saw this posted and it was crazyy

I thought this sub and others like it were just coping and focusing on the wrong thing... but I have been officially height pilled. I am not even sure what to say, I'm Mexican and I'm 5'8 brah living in NY. What are we even supposed to do? Wait until we get rich to get surgeries just to be *entertained* by people who are so superficial?

Social media radicalizes people, I get it. I never noticed the height being a problem anyways in real life. And it shouldn't dissuade you from exploring your options and while you can ignore the black pill... the black pill won't ignore you.

so... what do we do? 😭 how do we even compete against such unrealistic standards?

Nerfed or not, Maul should never be able to defeat Vader.

He's Darth Vader. He is in his as prime as he is going to get post-Mustafar. I see way too many people expecting Maul to have put up a better fight but honestly even in his Phantom Menace prime or what not... let's just get one thing clear...

Darth Vader is on an entirely different level, period. Maul, Dooku and Grevious all embody and represent Vader for a reason.

Even if Vader is stuck in a duel between Ahsoka Tano, Maul and Daki or whoever you want to throw in... it should always be Vader who comes out on top. He is Sidious's most prized and final apprentice. Maul's chances were forever squandered when he lost his legs and spent all that time crazed up in a landfill with no training or practice. Yes Maul is a formidable opponent, he's no walk in the park and can clearly handle Jedi Masters but Sidious tossed him aside a long time ago for a reason.

Yoda, Windu, Kenobi and Sidious were perhaps the only individuals in the galaxy that could ever stand a chance against Vader and that should be it.

we lost contact, I still think of her too often and we had a situationship for awhile. its almost been two years. we didnt ever argue or anything, we just lost... touch. thinking of just telling her my honest thoughts, how I regret so and so, how I miss her and how I hope to be with her someday. Create a new account, message her and promptly delete. A kind of message in a bottle lost to sea. Although if she wanted to, she has my @ and always did so I'm not even sure anymore. lowkey I'm listening to a cigarettes after sex playlist so maybe I'm not in the right headspace... but whats the worst that could go wrong, right?

I think I'll say I drunk texted her to save a bit of face but ive been thinking about her sober for all my life

I mean what if a guy from your past drunk texted a confession of pure love and limerence? feels like today's society is so transactional and hard to break through, and maybe a glimmer of truth and vulnerability would be a nice refresher.

I dont know. I sorta feel drunk right now that I think about it. But Im not. I only ever (accidentally) took a sip once in March.

just finished a hackathon and while our project was great, i definitely learned that the big winner in all of this is the presentation. other teams spent time video editing, putting together camera work and ai videos while we just did a zoom-meeting presentation and it definitely held us back. was curious what was some advice you've been given or learned throughout your experiences competing in hackathons? ive done two so far and while i won the first one, lowkey we put too much emphasis on coding and project features so we ended up not winning
