First-Time NABARD Aspirant ...What's the One Thing I Should Absolutely Be Doing?

Hi everyone,

I'll be appearing for NABARD Grade A for the first time. While I'm new to NABARD, I've been preparing for UPSC for the last two years and will be writing my State PCS Mains soon.

Once that's over, I plan to focus fully on NABARD. For those who've appeared before, what's one thing that worked really well for you? Any must-do strategy, resource, or area I should prioritize from Day 1???

Thanks in advance :)

In Need of a Fic That is impossible to put down and makes me giggle, stress, cry all at once :)

I've read way too many fics over the last few weeks while I was free, and I think I've officially saturated my brain with the same kinds of stories. I'm looking for something fresh, gripping, and impossible to put down.

Any completed fic that keeps you hooked from start to finish—angst, romance, mystery, drama, anything goes. I've already read most of the popular recommendations, so I'd love some hidden gems. The only thing I'd prefer to avoid is anything overly dragged out or an extremely slow burn.

Looking for Shane-bi/Ilya-gay fics 🥰

Looking for Shane-bi/Illya-gay fics where Shane is bi and Illya is gay—it changes the dynamic in such a fun way. If you know any like that, I'd love recs!

If not, I'd also love personality-swapped fics where Shane is the brat and Illya is the soft, shy, slightly clueless one. AO3 recs appreciated!

Where Have All the Childhood Friends Fics Been Hiding?👀

I've got a craving for Shane/Ilya fics where they've known each other forever—childhood friends, neighbors, same school, hockey camp, anything along those lines.

I've read some of the popular ones already, so I'm hoping for a few hidden gems. Bonus points if it's completed because I'm not emotionally equipped to suffer through cliffhangers. 😭

Drop your favorites, please, and thank you in advance 🎀

Need fluffy/sweet/Lil angsty palate cleanser after too much filth!! 🫠

Okay, I think I’ve officially overdosed on smut and filth because my brain genuinely needs a palate cleanser now 🥹🥹

Please give me your best fluffy, romantic, sweet, intensely-in-love fic recs. I want soft feelings, angst , emotional intimacy, pining, comfort, cute domestic moments, and just enough angst to make the romance hit harder — but not soul-destroying angst plissss!! 💕💕💕

Hot fic where Shane is dating Ilya's son or something like that!!!

Apparently Shane dates Ilya’s son and then develops a whole daddy kink situation for Ilya instead 💀 One of my favorite writers mentioned it’s one of the hottest HR fics ever and now I NEED the title immediately. I didn't even know something like this existed.

Please help. Or drop your best chaotic older Ilya recs 👀

Ilya losing his shit over Rose out of jealousy is painfully sexy!!!! 🥵 Need more!!!

Just saw an Instagram reel of Ilya absolutely losing his mind after seeing Rose’s hand inside Shane’s shirt at the club, with all the tattoo lines playing in the background, and ohh god… cinema!!!! 🎥

Now I need jealous Ilya fics plisss — especially jealous-over-Rose fics. That man being fully raging, possessive, and obsessed over Shane is SO attractive. Any recs appreciated 🫶

Seeking your sexiest and filthiest Shane/Ilya treasures 🔥🥵

Need fluffy, smutty, hot, sexy Shane/Ilya fic recs ASAP 😭 One-shots or short multi-chapters, anything with amazing chemistry and feelings.

Also AO3 writers are literally so so talented because HOW do they write scenes so well that I can see the whole thing playing in my head like a movie 🫠

Learning mindset of the Question Makers!!!

I’ve done the PYQs, I’ve done the options, I’ve stared at them long enough to start seeing Laxmikant in my dreams 😭 but I still don’t fully get what toppers mean when they say “learn the mindset of the examiner.”

Like… what exactly changes once you “get” the mindset? How do you actually think while eliminating options? People who’ve cleared Prelims, please decode this mystery for me. Any suggestions/resources/examples would really help 🙏
