Self assessment refund.
I just completed my self assessment return and it transpires I overpaid tax (PAYE). This shows in my account.
I requested a repayment Friday night. I know it won’t be processed until today, but my online account is still showing the amount and is still allowing me to request it again.
Is this normal? I had it in my head all things being well I should have the money by the end of this week and stupidly started planning around it.

Update 2: Despite people saying the money still showing is normal, it is in fact, not normal. Once HMRC receive your request, the money is taken from "available" and allocated to a pending payment which you can seperately view. "This is normal. The system isn’t smart enough to show that you have a repayment pending so we just sit there like that until you get paid." isn't entirely accurate, because the system does show when you have a repayment pending. I had to ignore the "Wait up to 4 weeks to contact us" advice because it turned out my account had a repayment block on it because i closed my PAYE account. So when i phoned, they processed it there and then for me.
Timeline:
Wednesday 13th May - Submitted self assessments. Also updated my address.
Thursday 14th - Money showed as overpaid / due for refund in my account. Couldn't claim it because i had to wait 48 hours from an address change request.
Friday 15th - Requested the repayment.
Monday, 18th - No payment showing, rang HMRC. They confirmed there was a block, overrode it and issued the payment. Said me ringing them wasn't a problem and was a good thing.
Tuesday 19th, early hours - Payment showing as pending to my bank account, with interest.
I will update when i receive the money into my Monzo account.
