To summerize: once my .om passed away there was no will but it was between us sibling that her house is equal 3 ways. Eventually we agreed that it would be sister and I and my brother would take my dad's house and once sold all gains were his. Down the road my sister basically said her house would be mine but the title wouldn't change given the low interest and me not having solid credit and income to pay for it.

Now shes moving away and will rent her/mom's house and I lost my roommates and started a job so shes thinking of selling it and placing the gained money into a earnings to not pay capital gain.

I, however, want more than 50k because id be homeless. The rest would be placed in a high earnings savings and in a few years put in my name.

For example let's say after selling costs we netted 400k, I wanted 80k cash to invest and pay bills.

Is this possible without paying more taxes?
