feeling a little icky with my store manger and idk how to approch the sitution

a few weeks my coworker had an altercation with a customer, and my SM lied to the DM, saying that i wrote a statement about it when i haven't at all. i didn't even know she needed a written statement from me until now. the main reason for this is because the DM will be in house tomorrow and is probably expecting a statement. she just frantically called me telling me to write one and give it to her tommorrow when we open. i just kinda feel icky about it and i'm wondering if i should tell someone or if i'm just overthinking everything. i don't want my job security to be questioned.

new shift supervisor - needing advice

sooooo... i'm a former barista from a LICENCED store that recently snagged a job shift supervising at a corporate store. i've gotten dealt quite a lucky hand, i know. i have experience in managing at a local coffee shop, but starbucks is so particular about how things are run.

the way things are run at a corporate store is very different compared to my experience at the licensed store. basically... i feel like an idiot pretty much most of the time. a lot of the baristas have been there 5+ years, and they've been really helpful in guiding me, more than the actual SM. sometimes i wonder how i've managed to be a person in charge of such a lovely team of people.

i'm just asking for advice from partners with experience. how do the roles differ throughout the shift, and what are the best ways to lead baristas during peak periods? i'm pretty skilled on bar, it's just these roles themselves that i'm still figuring out.

Store Manager Quit During Hiring Process

The store manager who had offered me the job quit THE DAY after I submitted my background check. I literally don't even know if anyone else was aware that I submitted one before I called up there this morning, asking about it. They just told me somebody would contact me. I'm worried about whether or not my offering is still valid. If somebody can give me an idea of what that process could look like, I'd appreciate it.
