Hoyo screwed her so much. New meta characters don’t use dmg%. Artifact sets giving same average buff without the healing condition and future sets will follow the same path. She either requires a dps that specifically wants her, or she needs direct buffs like the older archons. It’s still unreal that she’s still stuck with Skirk and every other team is off-meta.

I doubt stellar melt will be a thing just like how there was no lunar vape. If the special reaction trend continues even through 8.X maybe pyro will get special reactions.

I’ve seen some people in other spaces argue that it’s good enough and it doesn’t need additional effects. But I think she does need additional effects added onto it. Any good additional effects added will be helpful in the long run because it’s her most accessible constellation.

Wrio’s cons got buffed even though he has relatively modern constellations, his C2 is over 40% damage increase now, making it the strongest C2 in the entire game. So making Hu Tao C1 between 30-40% damage increase shouldn’t be a problem.

It’ll be very good if her cons end up being over 250% increase from C0 to C6 or even 300% depending on when it happens.

I would be fine with a cooking event where Xiangling and Escoffier are the main characters and Hu Tao and Furina are supporting characters if it means they’re going to interact again.

Both Skirk and Flins are literal BRICKS without HYDRO and I had to use Columbina very early because she’s the ONLY hydro in this IT.

This line up is so cursed it’s not even funny. It took me 3 hours to complete this IT, and no IT has EVER made me SUFFER like this one.

And they’re putting RESTRICTIVE BOSSES in IT as well which makes it even WORSE. Like who tf thought putting bosses like that in IT is a good idea?

I’m a spender and I have 101 characters in the game of every element (some with cons) and many 5* weapons, and I managed to get every 12 stars of every previous lunar IT so far. But this isn’t what IT was supposed to be like.

Edit: Some mfs in the replies in are trying to convince me that the problem is with me, and not the game mode itself along with RNG and restrictive team building.

What I mean is that they will change her role completely. Cyno was a quicken dps and now he’s a stellar superconduct dps, so he doesn’t want Nahida or dendro characters anymore.

So would you mind if Hu Tao’s future buffs makes her no longer a vape focused dps?

Personally, I’ve invested so much into Furina and Yelan for Hu Tao. And I don’t want them to get replaced unless one of them (or preferably both) are getting buffed like her for the same niche. Otherwise, I would prefer they buff her but keep her a vape dps. Even if she gets new supports, I would like her to still work with Furina at least.

“I have little interest in her.” No tf you’re not lol. This is a clear contradiction to her voice lines. The tea party in the animated short took place before we even met Arlecchino, so this entire voice line seems weird now. If she was lying, there was no reason for her to lie there.
